The Wabi-Kusa Bio Bowl 175 is a closed system and has a diameter (at the bottom) of 17.5 cm. This size is ideal for creating a compact but beautiful ecosystem with aquarium plants and/or terrarium plants inside the bowl. The bowl is made of clear borosilicate glass, allowing for a transparent view of the plants and ecosystem inside. The glassware can be closed directly with the LED lamp. With an included adjustable ring, you can ensure good ventilation. However, this Wabi Kusa should not be exposed to direct sunlight, as the temperature in the Wabi Kusa can get too high. The chance of algae formation on the moist soil also increases with the amount of sunlight.

Since the plants in the Bio bowl usually come from humid habitats, it is necessary to provide them with regular water or mist. The water in the Bio bowl evaporates naturally, and if it can't evaporate through the opening in the lid, it would condense on the glass wall. The evaporation slots can be adjusted according to the amount of water and the time since the last watering, so that they are more or less open. This prevents excessive water loss while keeping the glass virtually free of drips.

General information:
A light duration of 8-10 hours is sufficient for most plants in a Wabi kusa. If the lighting lasts longer than 12 hours, the resting period for the aquarium plants is too short. With the included controller, you can use the + (plus) and - (minus) buttons to adjust the light intensity to 9 levels. The hour button allows you to set the hour modes. By pressing the button several times, a lighting duration of 6 hours, 8 hours or 10 hours is set. The LED lamp can be turned on and off with the on and off switch, but only in the on-position of the on/off button.
